  • Boat ramp and shops nearby
  • Walking distance to Merry Street Restaurant (open seasonally)
  • Adjacent to Murramarang National Park
  • Incredible scenic bushwalking trails

Camp fires are permitted as long as they are in a brazier off the ground. Note that we do not have BBQ facilities, camp kitchen or Wifi. There is limited mobile phone coverage in the park itself, depending on your service provider.

At Merry Beach our drinking water supply is reliant on rainwater and we rely on bore water for our showers and laundry facilities. As such both showers and laundry facilities are coin operated. Showers require at least 1 x 20c coin for approximately a 3 minute shower. Washing machines require 4 x $1 coins per wash, and dryers require a $1 coin per 10 minutes of drying time. Change is available from the office during office hours. There is no water to sites and drinking water is available from specific taps within the park.
